I am a tutor who believes that the best way to work with students is via an open line of communication. I encourage question and answer sessions, and I truly take time to observe how my students learn best. This way, I can work with their learning style rather than against it. I have worked as a tutor for over five years. I've worked as a professional tutor, including working at the Northern Virginia Community College Tutoring Center. I've also been a teaching assistant for several different college level courses. I pride myself on being readily available to my students, and even working on late notice.I am available to work with students in Elementary and Middle School Math, Precalculus, Calculus 1-2, Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, Pre-Algebra, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Arithmetic, Math, and Science. In addition, I also work with students on a variety of test prep subjects, including, SAT, SHSAT, ACCUPLACER Arithmetic and College-Level Math, CogAT, OLSAT, ASVAB, and ACT.I earned my bachelor's in Biology from George Mason University. Currently, I am working on my master's at Georgetown University.When I'm not working with students, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and viewing art. I also love to get outside and go fishing or work in my garden.
