Experience
I graduated from UCLA with a BA in Psychology, and I recently completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology at Palo Alto University. While in school, I had many experiences working with children and adults of all ages, and with different abilities, and found a myriad of ways to help students learn and remember what they learned. As a graduate student, I mentored undergrads, coaching them through a variety of projects, including grad school applications. I have the experience and aptitude to help you or your student with a variety of subjects, including Algebra 1 and 2, Elementary School Math, Arithmetic, Middle School Math, Reading, Writing, English, Essay Editing, English Grammar and Syntax, College Essays, High School English, and College English. I'm well-versed in helping students prepare for testing, including mid-terms, finals, and standardized tests like ISEE and SAT. In my spare time I like to keep busy reading, learning new recipes to try out in the kitchen, and working on crafts and DYI projects around the house. I also love hiking, taking long walks with my dog, Pilates, dancing, and working out at the gym.
